Use AI Enrichment to improve your product catalog

AI enrichment helps you improve the quality and completeness of your product catalog. It uses AI to generate missing attributes, write summaries, and create shopper-friendly descriptions that reflect how people search and compare.

To activate AI Data Enrichment, please contact your Zoovu representative or send a message to the Customer Success Team.

Get started​

  • Go to Data Platform > AI Data Hub > Product Enrichment.
  • Under "Enrich your products", click Start.
  • Name your enrichment — for example, “short product descriptions”.
  • Choose which catalog you want to enrich. You can select a specific catalog, or “All products” to enrich your entire project.

AI enrichment works on one catalog at a time.

  • Create a name for the new attribute that will store the enrichment results. It will appear in your catalog as a new column.
  • Pick one of the available templates based on your goal. Each template comes with a default prompt, which you can adjust later.

1. Description generation​

Use description generation to rewrite or shorten product descriptions from a sales perspective.

Default prompt:

Shorten the following description of this [[category]] to two sentences, each no longer than 256 characters, and use a sales perspective: [[attribute=description]].

How it works:

  • [[category]] = product category
  • [[attribute]] = specific product attribute from your Ontology. Start typing attribute to see available attributes, for example: [[attribute=price]].
  • [[reviews]] = product review content (for review summaries)

2. Score product​

Use this to assign a score or rank to each product based on a chosen attribute.

Default prompt:

Your main goal is to give this [[category]] a ranking of number 1, 2, or 3 depending on its price ([[attribute=price]]), where 1 is the most expensive.

How it works:

  • [[category]] is replaced with the product’s category
  • [[attribute=price]] is replaced with the product’s price
  • [[reviews]] can also be added if relevant

Add generated scores to search results​

Generated scores can be easily added to search results.

  • Save your AI-generated score.
  • Go to Ontology > Attribute groups. When creating a new attribute group, select the generated attribute:

  • After creating the new attribute group, go to Search Studio > Design & Publish.
  • In Results settings, scroll to "Score data points" and select your attribute group.

3. Summarize reviews​

Use this to generate a short, combined summary from all reviews on a product.

Default prompt:

Your main goal is to combine the following product reviews into one summary review with at most 300 characters. Reviews: [[reviews]]

How it works:

  • [[reviews]] is replaced with all available reviews for each product.
  • You can include [[category]] or any [[attribute=xxx]] for more context.

Test your prompt​

  • Click "Generate preview" to see a sample result.
  • If you make changes to the prompt, click "Save & Re-generate preview" to refresh.
  • Click "Save" to create your enrichment.
