Q1 Release Notes Highlights
What's new in Search Studio
The latest updates introduce powerful enhancements that make it easier to deliver more effective search experiences — with faster setup, deeper insights, and greater control over how results are displayed.
Modern default design
The new Search Plugin now features an updated, WCAG 2.2-compliant design with improved styling for result cards (list and grid views), filters, sliders, and histograms.
Customizable template
Use our predefined template to quickly rearrange and style search components—no complex configurations required.
Easier navigation with grouped filters
You can now use filter groups to organize filters into intuitive categories like “dimensions” or “brand options” to help users find and refine results faster.
More control over product display
Attribute groups let you control which product details appear in search results or suggestions, and in what order, so you can highlight what matters most.
Reusable configurations
Save time by copying your search setup across projects — no need to start from scratch.
Enhanced tracking
Search Success Tracking now includes search suggestions, offering deeper visibility into user behavior and intent.
New analytics and performance tools: Smarter tracking, deeper insights, clearer impact
We’ve launched two powerful tools to give you full visibility into how discovery drives engagement, conversions, and business value.
Faster, more flexible tracking setup
The new Tracking Manager makes it easier to monitor key user actions like add-to-cart and purchases. Define events, set custom triggers, and capture the data that matters most. You can easily update and manage your tracking setup any time, without changing the code on your site.

Improved UI and customization options
Creating and customizing experiences is now faster and more intuitive. A redesigned recommendation interface simplifies managing complex recommendation logic management. The new question bank and filter panel UI improve usability for large-scale discovery experiences with multiple paths and options. An updated Themes panel now includes a search bar to help you find themes faster. Plus, new styling options give you more control over how results are displayed, including support for product variants.
Enhanced code editor and precise styling control
The upgraded code editor now includes smart suggestions, real-time error detection, and better formatting—making it easier to write and manage JavaScript and CSS. You can now also apply custom CSS classes to individual elements like buttons, navigation, and flow steps, giving you more precise control over branding and layout.
Direct access to product data
Product catalogs managed in the Data Platform are now directly accessible within Discovery Studios. This eliminates manual steps and ensures your experiences always reflect the most up-to-date product data.
