Add a Digital Assistant to search results
Improve your search experience by displaying a contextually relevant digital assistant that helps customers find the right products. When search results feel overwhelming, the assistant asks key questions to narrow down choices based on customer needs.
Step 1: Create a custom result
- Navigate to Results Manager > Custom Results.
- Create a new custom result.
- Name the result and select the source:
Assistant
. - Make sure that the "Enter manually" toggle is turned off.
- Click on the menu and select your assistant from the dropdown. All published assistants within your Conversation Studio account are available here.
Step 2: Configure the result mapping
- Go to the Results Mapping section in Results Manager.
- Create a trigger for when the assistant should appear, e.g. search query matches
category
. - Once a trigger is added, you will see options on the left half of the screen. Select "+Add custom result**.
- Select the result mapping created for your assistant.
- Click "Save" in top right corner.
