Add images to attributes
You can add images to categories, product attributes, or filter values to create a better user experience:
- Display example products or icons for each category to help users identify them easily.
- Use images to make options like color, size, or material more intuitive.
- Add icons or small images next to filter values.
Here's an example from Gühring's website:
Step 1: Upload and add images
- Upload images to an online asset management tool. You can use the Library in Conversation Studio.
- Go to Data Platform > Ontology. Click on the concept you want to update and select "Edit attribute".
- In the general attribute settings, you can add three types of images:
- Search result image - Displayed in search results to represent categories or products.
- Pass-on image - Images for categories passed from the Data Platform, displayed under suggested products.
- Filter image - Icons or visuals next to filter items (e.g. "type") in search filters.
- Paste the image URL into the field and click Save.
Step 2: Preview your changes in Search Studio
- Go to Search Studio > Search Preview.
- In the search box, enter a keyword or select "More results" to see how the images appear.
Make sure to enable filters:
- Open Search Preview settings by clicking the gear icon.
- Turn on the "Show all filters" switch to view filters with the newly added images.
